The Town of Banff is selling HVAC fans, one 2 fan assembly.
These fans were installed temporarily in a new institutional building in Banff during the original building construction in 2022. They were used for approximately six months while the General Contractor was waiting for a backordered HRV unit.
The fans were removed once the permanent HRV equipment was available and installed.
Condition: Used. Lightly used for approximately six months. Removed after permanent HRV equipment was installed. Functional condition at removal.
Inspection: Inspection may be available by appointment only. All inspection requests must be submitted through GovDeals and are subject to Town staff availability, site access, safety requirements, and operational needs. Unscheduled inspections may not be accommodated.
Pickup/Removal: Pickup is by appointment only. Pickup appointments are available Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., excluding holidays and operational closures. Preferred pickup is Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday following auction close, subject to staff availability. If you are unable to pick up during these times, please do not bid.
The buyer is responsible for all loading, removal, transportation, permits, insurance, and related costs. The buyer must bring appropriate equipment, labour, and transportation to safely remove the item. Loading assistance, if required, must be arranged in advance through the Town and is not guaranteed.
Buyers arriving without a confirmed appointment or suitable loading/removal arrangements may be refused release and required to reschedule. The Town is not responsible for costs incurred by the buyer due to arriving without an appointment or proper removal arrangements.
The successful buyer must sign the GovDeals Bill of Sale and any required release/transfer documentation before the item will be released. The Town will not release the item until payment has been confirmed, pickup has been scheduled, and documentation is complete.

Removal

The buyer is responsible for all aspects of pick-up / removal, including but not limited to packing, loading, transportation and exporting. Note: Shipping is NOT available.
Removal is by appointment only. All items must be picked-up / removed within 10 (ten) business days from auction closure, unless otherwise stated in the asset description. If any item(s) is not removed within the allotted timeframe, the item(s) may be declared abandoned.
At the time of pick-up / removal, you will be required to present the seller with a copy of your Buyer’s Certificate and/or bill of sale, and potentially other documentation (e.g., copy of driver's license, Authorization of Release, etc). When making a removal appointment, please confirm with the seller what is needed to release the item(s).
