2017 Redbird “The JAY” All-in-One Desktop Flight Simulator – Tested and Fully Functional

Offered for sale is a Redbird Flight Simulations “The JAY” all-in-one desktop flight simulator. This unit was purchased for institutional use, saw very little use and is now being sold as surplus equipment.

Equipment details:

  • Manufacturer: Redbird Flight Simulations, Inc.
  • Model: The JAY
  • Serial number: R-JAY-100273
  • Manufacture date: November 2017
  • Processor: Intel Core i5, 7th Generation

The simulator has recently been tested and confirmed to be fully functional. It powers on properly, boots into the installed simulator software, launches flights and responds to the integrated flight controls as intended.

The self-contained system features:

  • Integrated 27-inch display and computer
  • Built-in speakers
  • Professional-grade yoke
  • Throttle and mixture controls
  • Flap, trim and magneto controls
  • Installed flight-simulation software
  • Printed instruction manual

IMPORTANT: External rudder pedals are NOT included with this sale. No pedals will be supplied.

This is the standard Redbird JAY model, not the later JAY Velocity. It is intended as a flight-experience and personal-simulation device and is not certified for logging flight-training hours.

Please review all photographs carefully for the cosmetic condition and included components. The simulator is being sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied.

Pickup Information

  • Location: Barrie Campus
  • Successful bidders must remove all items within five (5) business days of the auction closing date.
  • Purchaser is responsible for loading, transportation, and removal of all equipment.
  • Failure to remove items within the specified timeframe may result in storage fees or forfeiture in accordance with GovDeals terms and conditions.

Removal

The buyer is responsible for all aspects of pick-up / removal, including but not limited to packing, loading, transportation and exporting. Note: Shipping is NOT available.

Removal is by appointment only. All items must be picked-up / removed within 10 (ten) business days from auction closure, unless otherwise stated in the asset description. If any item(s) is not removed within the allotted timeframe, the item(s) may be declared abandoned.

At the time of pick-up / removal, you will be required to present the seller with a copy of your Buyer’s Certificate and/or bill of sale, and potentially other documentation (e.g., copy of driver's license, Authorization of Release, etc). When making a removal appointment, please confirm with the seller what is needed to release the item(s).
