Surplus Aggregate – 6,000 Tonnes FDR Material & Recycled Asphalt/Concrete Crush
The City of Grande Prairie is offering surplus aggregate for sale.
Materials:
• FDR Material – reclaimed trimmings from full depth reclamation projects (majority of pile)
• Recycled Crush – processed mix of recycled asphalt and concrete (located toward the north end of the pile)
• Material may contain incidental metal/rebar and ACP chunks – sold as is
• The majority of material for sale is FDR trimmings; the north end may contain mixed recycled crushed concrete, ACP
Quantity:
• Entire pile is approx. 5,600 m³ in volume
• Only 6,000 tonnes are available for sale
• Volumes are estimates only. Buyers are encouraged to inspect prior to bidding.
Location: Grande Prairie, AB (stockpile yard at 92 St and Park Rd)

Loading & Access:
• The City will provide loader service for all sales. Buyer is responsible for hauling and all associated costs.
• Buyer loads will be taken from the south end of the pile moving north.
• Loader availability limited to Monday to Thursday (excluding stat holidays), 7AM to 7PM.
• Material must be removed by October 24, 2025.
Notes:
• Material is sold as is, where is, with no warranties or guarantees.
• Sieve analysis reports are attached for reference.
• Suitability for any application is at the buyer’s discretion.

Optimum moisture content: 10.1%
The material is 25 mm base course b product as specified in the City of Grande Prairie's Construction Manual, Section 31 05 16 (Table A).
Seller will provide loading assistance to buyer picking up. Buyer will arrange for trucking..
Removal, seller will allow an extended removal time period, - up to 45 days, mutually agreed upon.

The buyer is responsible for all aspects of pick-up / removal, including but not limited to packing, loading, transportation and exporting. Note: Shipping is NOT available.
Removal is by appointment only. All items must be picked-up / removed within 10 (ten) business days from auction closure, unless otherwise stated in the asset description. If any item(s) is not removed within the allotted timeframe, the item(s) may be declared abandoned.
At the time of pick-up / removal, you will be required to present the seller with a copy of your Buyer’s Certificate and/or bill of sale, and potentially other documentation (e.g., copy of driver's license, Authorization of Release, etc). When making a removal appointment, please confirm with the seller what is needed to release the item(s).
