The University of Alberta is offering for sale a TOSHIBA BTD-110.R16 CNC horizontal boring mill. This heavy-duty, high-precision machine has been used exclusively in a university research setting—not in industrial production.
Notably, this machine contributed to the fabrication of components for two major international scientific experiments:
-The ATLAS experiment at CERN, one of the world’s largest and most significant particle physics projects.
-The DEAP (Dark Matter Experiment at SNOLAB), Canada’s flagship project for direct dark matter detection.

📍 Location & Transport:

The seller will allow an extra few weeks to remove, but it must be removed by August 27/2025
